Update Facebook Status Via Twitter

Well, probably facebook and twitter addicts probably know this one already.

But for noobs, here's a simple way of updating your facebook status with the use of twitter.

1.) Log-in to your facebook account.

2.) Go to http://apps.facebook.com/twitter.

3.) Click the ALLOW button.

4.) Input your twitter username and password on the dialog box.

5.) Click logon.

6.) Now, you will see a page similar to twitter. Click the "Allow Twitter To Update Your Facebook Status."

7.) There you have it. Try to update your tweet and your facebook status will also be updated.

How To Use Checkbox In Windows Explorer

Sick and Tired of using CTRL key when selecting multiple files in windows explorer?

Well, now you can use checkboxes for easier and faster way of selecting files.

Here's how:

1.) Open your Windows Explorer. (Press the Window Key on your keyboard + E)
2.) Press the ALT key to toggle the menu bar.
3.) Go to Tools->Folder Options.
4.) When you see the Folder Options dialog box, select the View tab.
5.) Under the Advanced Settings scroll down to the bottom of the list and select the "Use Check Boxes To Select Items check box".
6.) Click OK to complete the operation.

As you mouse over a certain file, a checkbox would be visible beside the icon of the file.

View Song Lyrics Directly From Your Media Player

Do you know that you can view the lyrics of the song directly from your media player?

All you have to do is download a lyrics plugin software corresponding for your Media player.

Download the plugin from this site: http://www.lyricsplugin.com/

Once downloaded, run the .exe file in order to install the lyrics plugin into your computer.

Open your media player and select a song. The lyrics would be displayed on the left side of the player. Take note, in order for this plugin to take effect, you need to connect to the internet.

There you have it. I tried at and can't stop singing my favorite exotic song, Lady Gaga's Poker Face :)

How To Create Your Own Drive

Do you wish that one of your folder under your harddisk has it's own disk drive?

It's possible.

Here are the steps on how to create your own personal drive, which it's contents came from a folder under your disk drive.

1.) Create a folder under C:\. (Let's say we name our folder "love")

2.) Next, go to run. Type in cmd.

3.) In the command prompt, type in subst y: c:\love.

4.) Close the prompt and open your My Computer. There, you can see your new disk drive.

How To Remove Windows Genuine Notification Error

Sick and tired of tolerating the bugging Windows Genuine Notification alert located at lower part of your monitor?

Here are the steps on how to resolve WGA problem:

1.) Reboot Windows in safe mode. (We do this by restarting the computer. Hold the F8 key once the computer is booting)

2.) Once the windows is running in safe mode, go to run->type regedit.

3.) A new window will pop-up. Search for wgalogon folder and delete it.

4.) In your windows directory, search all files starting in WGA* and delete them all.

There you have it. The WGA problem would not bug you anymore.

Trick To See Your Name In Time Taskbar

Here's a simple trick.

Would you want to see the time located at your lower right portion of the screen with your name on it? Here's how:

Go to start->Control Panel->Regional and Language Option-> Customize


Select the time tab and replace the text beside the AM & PM symbol with your name. Click Apply then Ok.


Then, check the lower portion of your screen beside the time display. You will now see your name beside the time.
